ScriptOptimizer is a stack that can help automate the necessary procedures for uploading. It compacts the stack for you and puts HyperCard's standard abbreviations into the scripts to help cut down on disk space. The abbreviations may not save much space, but because they are standard, they can increase compression ratios by up to 5%.
You can use ScriptOptimizer in two ways. One way is to go to a stack while keeping the ScriptOptimize palette open, and click the optimize button. The other way is to use ScriptOptimizer's "Add Stack" button. Doing so adds a stack to the list on the card, and clicking on the Optimize button will optimize all of them. If you change your mind about optimizing a stack before you click on the Optimize button, click on the name of the stack.
ScriptOptimizer also allows you to optimize strings inside of quotes. You can only do this in batch optimizing though. Just check off the "Optimize within quotes" button.
ScriptOptimizer 1.1.2 fixes some bugs in version 1.1.1 and 1.1. Version 1.1 works much faster than 1.0. It can go through about 60k per minute, while version 1.0 does about 9k per minute.
ScriptOptimizer is free and will be updated regularly, to take advantage of HyperCard's new abbreviations (with each HyperCard update). It may also add speed optimization with a future update.
